Shani has had a successful acupuncture practice in Vienna since 2003.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary in 1993. After experiencing the wonders of acupuncture for her own health issues, she decided to get her Masters degree in acupuncture. Shani received her Masters degree from Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly known as the Tai Sophia Institute) in 2003. She then became a Diplomat of Acupuncture through the NCCAOM and a licensed acupuncturist through the state of Virginia.
Since starting her practice, Shani has witnessed what acupuncture can do to help people heal a myriad of symptoms on the mind, body and spirit levels.
Shani believes acupuncture is a very effective tool that allows people to heal themselves and move toward their wellness destiny. She realizes it has been a privilege to walk with others on their journey of experience including; bumps, bruises, laughter, tears, awareness and transcendence.
Shani is grateful to be doing meaningful work while developing deep connections to many wonderful people.
Shani lives happily in the Vienna community with her husband and two children.
